  'Esquire' which is an old meaning for gentelmen, this connotation of gentelman are well mannered people and people in the bussiness community. This shows it is aimed at smart and older men because of the language they mostly used
Masthead: The way it's written is fancy posh and elegant also the use of colour scheme makes it stand out.
 
Main image: The main image is the well known James Franco, he is well dressesed and looks presentable, his top button is undone and he has a cup in his hand This connotes that he is relaxed and chilled in the spotlight.
